Greyhound Rescue Vic (GRresVic) is a non-profit charity run entirely by volunteers, and relying solely on the generosity of support and donations from our community and the general public. Volunteering for GResVic is multi-faceted, our volunteers are our foster carers, they’re also volunteers on the ground working to raise awareness of greyhounds and their plight, the breed and raise much-needed funds for our re-homing program. Our volunteers also work behind the scenes to assist the day-to-day running of the rescue, which is expanding and growing everyday.
As a GResVic volunteer, you will get to meet so many people, including pet-industry celebrities during participation of our bigger events. Our big draw card events are the Melbourne Dog Lovers Show, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk, Red Hill Show, our own annual trivia night awareness night and more … GResVic welcomes those who want to join us on fundraising days, and also those who are willing to lend a skill-set, e.g. writing, design, admin, IT, etc. If you have something to offer, we want to know!
